Streptavidin Phycoerythrin is a bacterially derived biotin-binding protein. It exhibits less non-specific binding than avidin. Phycoerythrin, also known as R-Phycoerythrin (RPE, is a bright phycobiliprotein isolated from red algae. It has an absorption maxima of approximately 496, 546 and 565 nm – with a fluorescence emission maximum of 578 nm. This product is used in flow, microplate assays and microarrays – and is truly a proven performer that you can trust and rely on.
